How to book a seat from Chitral to Peshawar, Islamabad or Pindi

Or search the route with the kind of transport: Peshawar coaster or Islamabad coaster for down-country services, or a local destination like Mastuj. Adding "coaster" keeps shops that merely have "Peshawar" in their name out of the results.

Coasters carry more passengers and are usually the cheapest for long routes. 2D (car) services are faster and more comfortable, at a higher fare. Flying coaches leave early and are quickest for Peshawar.

The road down country passes through the Lowari Tunnel, and in winter snow and tunnel timings can change departure times at short notice. Call the operator the evening before to confirm your seat and the time.

Keep your CNIC with you: there are checkpoints on the way and you may be asked for it. Keep cash ready for the fare and for food at the stops on the way.
